Exclusive: Cavalier Attitude Sits Down With the Cleveland Plain Dealer's Terry Pluto

By: Terry Pluto

Just in case you are lost in the midst of this weekend's football bonanza: Just three more weeks until the Cavs' first preseason game against the Charlotte Bobcats on October 6th.

And just in case you root for the Cleveland Browns, Cincinnati Bengals, or even the Ohio State Buckeyes, it can't come soon enough.

If ESPN's "Around The Horn" ever asked Cleveland to be represented on its show full of sportswriters, then the Cleveland Plain Dealer's Terry Pluto is the guy who should be there. Pluto has forgotten more things about Cleveland sports than most young fans like myself even know.

Pluto was also the co-author of the book "The Franchise: LeBron James and the Remaking of the Cleveland Cavaliers" with our good friend Brian Windhorst. He is also the author of over 20 other books and has twice been honored with the award of the nation's Top Sports Columnist. Pluto has also been nominated for the Pulitzer Prize on two separate occasions.

During this eventful NBA offseason that is just now losing steam as teams get ready for training camp, Pluto has been able to provide Cavs fans with plenty of insider information on both the Plain Dealer and cleveland.com. So as the eve of what may be the most anticipated season in Cavaliers history is fast approaching, we decided to sit down with Pluto and discuss the most burning questions surrounding the organization today.
